That young lady has some incredible learning skills. She was paying more attention to you than she let on. When she went to apply that, she had a riff in her head, and "took laps" to make it happen. You can see the progression in just the first minute. She had to get out of her classical head and build a new one. Soooo very cool to see. ❤❤❤

it takes skill to play even the jankiest of pianos, i've discovered what i call magic sauces, for playing on the jankiest piano i've handled. i played a scott joplin piece, the maple leaf rag, i had my headphones in and was listening to a cover recorded on an old steinway and played it on a piano with complete sets of keys, that had lost their felt.

The talent is present, practice is lacking. It's the same everywhere, the profession of a piano maker seems to have died out in England as well, and money is scarce everywhere. It's a pity that the piano isn't being repaired.
