until the court yet to decide on the matter, many have different opinions otherwise there will be no defense and prosecutor. The court has interpreted the way the law should be interpreted not just base on opinion. the court ruled out the that maria ressa is guilty of cyberlibel without prejudice because it is written and enforce by the law. remember, until the court decides many have opinions depending if it suits their interes. i can also have opinion that maria ressa is not from this planet so therefore the law doesnt apply to her, thats my wildest imagination and opinion. the court is the final arbiter to interpret the law, not the so called overnight experts.

fyi, cyberlibel is one level higher than libel, the reason is when libel is in fine print , it only publish in one occasion or a day then nasa basura na yan yun newspaper, while cyberliber, the ciruclation will stay forever in the internet, try typing keng in the google you can still see the publication. i know you are bias toward maria ressa, but how about the law, could you be bias too toward the law. no one is above the law, no one is perfect, dahil journalist ka angel ka na. think, the law kung bakit nabubuhay tayo hindi dahil kay maria ressa, imagine may journalist iextort ka ng pera para hindi lang nya siraan ang pangalan mo. lahat ng tao natetemp sa pera, including journalist. as jose rizal said, the PEN is mightier than the sword. kaya nga tawag sa media ay fourth estate kasi may power din sila para siraan kung sino. FYI, kahit anong gawin ng DOJ kung hindi sangayon sa batas malalaman mo sa decision ng courte. HIndi ddahil sinabi ng DOJ ganito, yan na ang ruling ng judge sa courte, eh bakit noon DOJ pa si De lima, bakit na aquit si gloria at na contempt si de lima dahil hearsay lang ang preba nya. Hindi automatic na anong sabihin ng DOJ eh yun na ang ruling ng judge. In this case kay maria ressa the court find that the DOJ is right and according to the law. dont try to cover individual for the sake of the entire law.
