Sakkari is in a massive slump. Poor serving, forehand all over the place and dreadful decision-making all contributing to this thrashing. I know she's completely out-of-form but I didn't expect Bouzas Maneiro to beat her so comprehensively on a hard court. Sakkari just seems to have no confidence whatsoever on court and I don't really know what it'll take for her to regain that lost confidence. It's been more than a year now. Bouzas Maneiro played a great match and was the one looking to dictate and be aggressive. Sakkari was too passive and didn't try to change tactics - come to net more, use slice, drop-shots etc.- when she was clearly in trouble.
