OMG!!!!!!!! Yassssssss! You deserve the highest honor of the Natural hair awards because there is NO clearer way someone on KZbin could have explained this. You taught me how to flat twist and now cornrow!!! The world is not ready for the hairstyles about to get into!!! I have spent many hours looking for a thorough, detailed tutorial and not one has helped, until now! Thank you so much for taking the time and thought to make this video. I feel so silly being beyond happy over something so small, but like this is a really big deal, you have no idea. Like I seriously cannot thank you enough!!!!

Same lol I'm 14 just learned how to properly oil my hair on my own. I can proudly say I now know how to put my hair in a ponytail without pooping all my head bands. Now the next step is learning how to part and braid my **own hair**. I mean we all gotta start from somewhere. ( Yes ik it's sad I just now learned some of theses that at 14)

this was so helpful, i got it on the 4th or 5th try. It helped to try and mirror Maria rather than worry if i was using the same hand that she was.

This video was amazing! I watched it and after 1 hour and 30 minutes I was able to get one cornrow right. Until I ended up cornrowing my whole head the same night. They didn't come out neat but I got the hang of it and now all I have to do is practice. Thank you !!!

the way you add in pieces is what helped me figure it out. I learned on someone else and was taught to grab the piece as I switch over instead of leaving the piece to grab with the other hand... does that make sense lol anyways this helped me UNDERSTAND it better now let's see if it helps in real life haha
