I would feel sorry for Callie ..... but she's blaming Penny for losing the custody case. Not knowing whether Sofia is in first or second grade is not why Callie lost. She treats Penny like shit, then goes whining to Arizona needing to switch nights?? Come on writers, you've turned Callie into a hot freaking mess!! Bring back the bad ass Torres who was very lovable and honorable!

agree Callie is annoying now, she messed up and it's blaming everybody else I feel sorry for Penny cause she didn't ask her to move it was Callie that was all "ask me to move with you?" and now she's being mean to her I don't like Callie right now. I understand Arizona being pissed at her for all the things Callie brought up in court.

+Cesily Estrada While I hate that Callie's blaming her, Penny did play a part in this whole thing. She knew damn well that asking Callie to move to New York with her would mean taking Sofia with them - taking Sofia away from her other mother. She never tried to talk Callie out of doing that, and she took the stand to help her do that. She didn't put Sofia's happiness first, just like Callie.

She was in what was supposed to be a serious relationship with a woman who had a kid, which meant that every decision she made would affect that child's life. Yes, Callie should have told her she couldn't move to NY, but she didn't. She went full steam ahead with what she and Penny wanted, and Penny was a full participant in all of it.

Callie tried to take Sofia away from Arizona without considering her feelings. If the roles were reverse, Callie wouldn't want Arizona taking Sofia somewhere without her blessings for it.

That's not correct, because in the next episode Arizona give bact joint Custody with Callie and made the same arrangement as Callie suggested in the first place, before Arizona went to a lawyer. So the whole lawsuit Arizona started was for nothing.

Not really sure why Arizona is the subject of hate, I suspect there court enforced rules, (Arizona mentioned the rules)given Callie made their existing flexible arrangement a massive negative point. Arizona is probably worried about "bending the rules" it comes back to bite her in the arse. I suspect that had Callie she would have had a party, and moved to NY without proper arrangements for Arizona to visit. Arizona has a point Callie put them all in this situation, Sophia needs stabilty now not her mum wanting to use her as an emotional prop

+Suan Mudders I blame Arizona more than Callie for putting them in this situation... Sure, Callie made a thoughtless and selfish decision to move to NY, but at least her decision was easily reversible until they got on the plane. Arizona had no chill and didn't think to talk over her feelings before getting a lawyer. And once those papers are served, anything either party does can be used against the other, so instead of having a real conversation between two parents, you're talking through lawyers. This whole story was so poorly written, ruined two characters that used to be very likable.

@ +not really divided No Capshaw herself gave an interview about how her her pregnancy during season 9 and how to rewrite her story line with Sara she also commented how she couldn't believe how mean she had to play Arizona that season and she said it affected her. Any way she brought tit up and I was commenting on how it seems like old times for her Get It. I am not overly concerned about her private life .

I love Arizona but the whole "if I allow you" was not ok however callie let them say some bad things about Arizona in court but Arizona shoudnt have gotten a lawyer until trying to sort it out with callie but callie took it out of line by taking it to court so in all its both of their faults as much as I love them both its really hard to pick a side

I really hate Arizona. She seems to take personal pleasure in being able to make Callie squirm. Which would be OK if it didn't involve Sofia as the dangling worm to do it with. My reason for not liking Arizona (and its purely the writers fault) the few people I know who "never wanted children" never change their minds. Myself included. I never wanted children and avoided any one who wanted them no matter how much we got along. Or how good looking they were.

Well you could go from not wanting children to wanting children!! I went from not wanting children to when mine was born idk what I would do without her!!! Also ik a lot of people who started out not wanting kids and when they had a kid they fell in love!!! So it could happen!!!

Really? She put callie through crap? Remember how Sofia was born? Callie cheating. Yes, Arizona slept with someone else. But she was in sickness and appologized atleast 3 million times. Arizona is a fantastic mother to Sofia, she IS sofias mother. If you're going to make the argument that sofias real mother is Callie then don't, Arizona adopted her (And if you say that doesn't count,go die in hell. I'm adopted, and my parents are my parents even if we don't share a few irrelevant chromosone). Callie tried to take sofia away from her mother, her friends and her life just because callie didn't want to separate from her new girl toy. Callie tried to separate a mother from its child but thanks to karma it resulted in her losing her child. Don't forget all the stuff Callie said to arizona in court, she actually accused her of having an affair with Richard. Callie knew it wasn't true, but she did it because SHE is the horrible one.

+Aksangel _ Also to add onto yours what people aren't getting is that yes Callie and Mark had sex and conceived Sofia but it was during one of there hook ups Callie was trying to get over Arizona and Mark was trying to get over Lexi!!! When Arizona came back and Callie told her that she was pregnant with Marks baby she wanted her to be the mother of Sofia!!! They raised her in a lesbian relationship!!! It would have been the same thing if Arizona hadn't of misscarried and carried the baby full term then Callie wouldn't have been any less of a mom then Arizona!!! That's how lesbian relationships works!! Sofia had 3 real parents Mark, Callie, and Arizona!!!

What people don't understand is having a baby grow inside you and you feel it kick and you give birth., Is heartbreaking when the non birth mom gets custody, Calli should not have done what she did but she didn't deserve to lose custody.

The judge granted the custody to whoever the best posible parent was. She did not take into consideration which mother gave birth, but which mother has the best interest in the child´s happiness and safety, regarlds of being bio mom or adoptive mom. Adoptive parents have equal rights to the child that biological parents, as it should be. Callie, with her actions and behaviour (in the own trial and the previous actions that led to the trial), prove to the judge that she was only thinking about herself when she moved to another state to be with her "girlfriend", that she did not think abou the repercusions her action could have on Sofia. Exactly the opossite that Arizona did. She los the custody because when she made all the decissions she made she did not think about her daughter, only thought about herself. Custody is not granted to bio-parents, but for the parents that have best consideration for the child.
