Loved this! You can see Kate is slowly being welcomed into the family. Jesse is just looking out for Lucy here like a real big brother/friend would do. Hopefully we get an Ernie & Kate scene & a Tennant & Kate scene. I feel like Tennant & Kate could be friends.

Kate and Tennant are pretty much friends already after the whole Maggie Shaw thing happened. They might potentially be besties soon ☺️

@@iamgroot7277 I am pretty sure you have seen the the rest of the season. Tennant thanks her for watching her back in 2x11, and in 2x21-22 she chooses Kate to accompany her to Caracas . Kate pretty much rescues her despite Tennant handcuffing her in their hotel room. We will see if this has any consequences next season.

It goes back to what Kate said to Lucy last year before the kiss in 1x06. She told Lucy that she was lucky because she had her team and even at the end of the day, they could all go out and get a beer together. Lucy said she was sorry that Kate didn't have that. Kate has that now.

Kate and Jesse interactions have been pretty stiff, because of her personality and shutting down his team while with DIA, and his personality and being annoyed at her for hindering his team, but here you see him slip into the Lucy big brother role (NCIS family-wise), where he's just looking out for Lucy, so since Kate is important to Lucy, he's making an effort to welcome her to the family. Cute scene.

I find it very interesting that Jesse says Lucy is "crazy about" Whistler, rather than "loves"....I think the Lucy saying ILY moment will be a special moment. I think it was easier for S1 Lucy to say that she loved Kate because it was past tense....who knows. Kacy fantom being fed is all we care about, I'm just happy this is a healthy relationship. forget it being 2 women, though that's important.

I see your point but I actually think he said "crazy" to stress that Lucy is madly in love. In this context it sounded stronger than "she loves you" and meant to reassure Kate that Lucy is not going anywhere, not a chance.
