Mariachi Nuevo Santander

Roma High School's Mariachi Nuevo Santander won first place in the high school category during the 22nd Annual Mariachi Vargas Extravaganza. The group has consistantly positioned themselves as the best high school mariachi performing arts group in the nation. Their program is equivalent to some of the best performing arts programs of any genre among high schools throughout the nation. Mariachi Nuevo Santander is based in Roma, Texas and performs under the musical direction of Eloy Garza.
Following their win in San Antonio in December, the group auditioned for Season 12 of NBC's America's Got Talent. We wish them all the luck in the world in moving on to the next round!!!
