I feel so happy that I took your recommendation on both the tharwah gold and gentle gold. Took me longer to warm to gentle gold but it is now superb. Tharwah gold is my most complimented perfume. It’s so versatile and very beautiful on clothing too it would be the perfume i reach for the most. Thanks again and keep producing these fab videos.

Gentle Gold is indeed a great starter Arabian if you alread like sophisticated vanilla. You will get excellent value and it layers like a dream. Maria did not lead me wrong! :)

Eclaire is one of my absolute favorites but I find go a bit anosmic after a couple hours. I thought I wasn’t getting good longevity but then realized I was getting so many compliments long into the evening and anything I wore and hung up, I could REALLY smell it the next day or two when I walked by whatever clothing item it was so it’s just my nose gets used to it. Love love love it.

So my list would not work for 98% of people starting with Middle Easterns but these are my current top 5. (Btw, I think Baroque Satin Oud is no longer being made. I can't find it anywhere.) 1)Maison Alhambra B. Satin Oud 2)Lattafa Baade'e Al Oud Amethyst 3)Lattafa Ansaam Gold 4)Lattafa Silky Rose 5)Lattafa Oud Mood I know! I know! Not for beginners. But these have all been beginner ME fragrances for me. Cuz I'm weird.😂 And a bit adventurous.💪

That’s a really good list. I have 3 of those. Baroque Satin Oud I bought at Maria’s recommendation and fell in love so I’ll be really sad if it’s really disappeared! Oud Mood took me awhile to warm up to but I enjoy it now. And Ansaam Gold is also a fave of mine. Really enjoy that one.

I have gentle Gold & kaheela lux; both are great! I wore Tubereuse Imperiale yesterday, and I loved it! The frontrunner in my Tuberose tries is odor 93, but TI is a close second. I'm wearing Tuberoza today. Out of ME, 5 I'd reccomend are... Ophidian Black Cherry, Artisan Ethnique, Rifaaqat, Secret Musk, and Shaghaf Oud (original or Tonka).

@Maria Collett Havé you tried “Pear Potion” by Paris Corner Emir” By Paris Corner? I am in love with this scent! So fruity, but light. Smells like a fresh, juicy pear🙂 I’m sorry to say the only one you mentioned I have is Lattafa Eclair which is the most amazing smelling scent. The others I haven’t tried. Great recommendations. I have to avoid Lavender as it is toxic to cats and oud I’m not sure if I have smelt that note before. Lol

If you are looking for Kaheela Lux, I recommend searching somewhere other than Aroma Concepts. After I ordered, I waited 21/2 months, then they cancelled because they were out of stock. I pointed out that they had plenty in stock on Facebook and their website, but they didn’t remove those listings despite saying they were out of stock. Not saying you shouldn’t try them just because I had a bad experience, but if you’re looking for that particular perfume, I’m hoping I can save you some trouble. You may have to wait a very long time or may possibly not get it at all.

I really enjoy your description of the fragrances but I have a slight criticism and it’s not only aimed at you. I think I understand why many perfumers sniff the perfumes but to me it’s kind of gross. You can either sorag the fragrances on a paper strip or not sniff them at all. It’s just my pet peeve.

Totally get it. I would spray on a strip but then after 10 perfumes in a small space, it’s just too much fragrance in the air, especially for my family! 😀
