This piece is originally written by Paul de Senneville and performed by Richard Clayderman. The piece was rearranged by pianist George Davidson and this is his version. This version is also incorrectly known as Spring Waltz by classical composer Frédéric Chopin. I believe this is caused by a popular, but wrong titled, video here on youtube (which has now been deleted).

Everyone thinks this is difficult but what they don't know is that to combine the hands you have to practice then learn a small part of the song and realize that it is very simple and that much of it is a repetition, this song is very beautiful but it is not difficult, try it and you will be super happy with the result

This music is like a kiss from the Holy Spirit! When I was 7 and at a play mates home, another such blissful moment happened as "Clair de Lune" came over the radio. I remember stopping with my hand still on the door knob and standing mesmerized. Thankfully the announcer gave the name of the piece. I ran to my music teacher ( Madam Seidlovia in remembrance) and begged her to teach me how to play it. One of the ways love can pull us forward beyond our present abilities. To this day ( 50 yrs. later) I play this wonderful gift with as much joy as I did for the first time. The hearing of George Davidson and also Toms Mucenieks bringing "Marriage d'Amour to life is only the 2nd time I have had my soul captured so completely and unexpectedly! I was searching for an entirely different genre when this KZbin crossed my path and I haphazardly "clicked" on the video. It is wonderful too to read the similar responses posted by so many of you. To anyone who longs to play the piano I say, just get what you need and begin. There is no greater love to comfort your heart all the days of your life.

Its really not as hard as you think when you break it down. The left hand is almost always 1/5/10 with Gm, Cm, F, Bb and the right hand is just some fast melody which will come easy with practice :D

You know what I realized after watching this video? That you really can't teach old cow new tricks! :( I'm used to sheet music, but my 12yo started playing piano by watching these kinds of tutorials and picks up new pieces much faster than I do with the sheet music! Ok so, I've discovered that the keyboard is a vessel for two seperate entities: the Right Hand of Fire and the Off-hand of Frost. I've discovered the Flame scroll and have learnt it's power. I have also discovered the Frost scroll, but am still to dissect its cryptic message. The hard part is then to synergise the two opposing elements to create something far greater than each has seperately. I may still be a young and inexperienced adventurer, but I'm not shy of a challenge. Sun guide you.
