Our band had the opportunity to open for Mariah a few times in '76. We were in awe of their vocals. At sound check, the 3-4 part harmonies were as tight as a drum. Good times indeed. learned alot from their engineer/manager Dale Messmer (RIP)

My cousin's husband Bill Murray, not The Bill Murray was a great artist maybe still is, but he designed and drew the cover of the album. His initials are on the guitar by the neck. Very clever on his part. Good job Bill!! Proud of you!!

Yeah, Sullivan was in the band when they were Jamestown Massacre and played at the Westmont Junior High prom in 1971. The late Dale Messmer was the brother of a friend of mine, Kenny, and attended our school. This was before Sullivan turned 50 and started showing up onstage in bicycle pants. You need to know this is the same band that did Summer Sun. I believe VJ Comforte the singer is now an electrician: at least you see his van around.

Strangest thing- this was more like Jamestown in concert in 71 and when Summer Sun came out in 72 it sounded like Chicago. I believe, but don't quote an old fart on this, that Hey Mama was an old Deep Purple track.
