I agree. Y do ppl insist on comparing artists. Each one has been gifted in a single way. Beyoncé has always been a fan of Mariah. And so has Mariah, you can dig both of them speaking their heart over one another on interviews on KZbin.

i don't know if your familiar with urban slang but have you ever heard someone say "why are you all in my grill" that means why are you all in my face or all in my space, and because George Foreman has a line of grills call "The George Foreman Grill", she's saying "He's all up in my George Foreman" because she's trying to get across the point that the Obsessed guy is all in her grill, or all in her face/space

had to tell you thanks for posting this clip cuz you dont hear the terrible back up singers that shouldnt have even been in it...like you do in the other versions and it shows that the performance was a really good one vocally which I didnt see it too much in the other versions! very happy now!! thanks!!!!! Actually it's not lipsynched. Listen to the original and the live version. Vocals are completly different. Everytime Mariah sings good in a performance people say it's lipsynched yet they just can't get over the fact that Mariah still has the voice.

This is really random, but it kinda sounds like the "He's all up in my George Foreman" part is lipped o.o You can tell that it's slightly softer than when she belts out the rest, and it sounds the exact same as the recording. Not hating, just pointing out something I found interesting :P The whistles at the end were amazing.

If you saw the TV version that was aired on AGT you can tell they edited certain parts of this performance and her mic was much lower on the TV version. This was version was definitely the better version and showed the power and magnificence of her amazing voice more...can't wait to see her perform this song LIVE, LIVE on TV. It's gonna be AMAZING!!! LOVE U MC!!!

I'm so happy with this performance for many reasons, one because she is having FUN, last year she looked very uncomfortable in her perfromances and "stiff" in this perfromance she letting her voice flow and not holding back and it wasn't until this performance that i relized this is the first time i've heard her hit a whistle note live since 2007, cause last year i don't believe she hit any, there in some songs on the cd but they weren't in the singles that she released and did live

Yep I agree, though even during the e=mc2 era she sang songs like I Stay in Love, Lovin U Long Time and Love Story just like she sounded on the CD, but because her voice wasn't coping well with old songs like Hero, which she kept performing last year, people say she didn't have a good performance which isn't true.

Hey! Try to sing Obsessed or Touch my body from beginning to end, non-stop. Those songs leave no room for breathing in between. They are extremely difficult. Mariah has no such a thing as an easy song.

whitney got nodules during a tour, and she had one concert left so she did it with the nodules instead of resting and they permanently damaged her voice. she rested afterwards and they went away, but her voice will never be the same.

There´s interview when she says she realized ppl were no longer interested in the lyrics´ content. Explained also that being in sexy outfit was part of showbis too. And that, differently from some female artists, she had voice to sing, so, she´d never need her body as an appealing invitation to her concerts. Isn´t she right? It, of course, recalls ppl like Madonna and Britney to our minds.

I agree. you can hear her much better (at the parts she sings) and much more clearer. On TV, she sounded like she was mumbling or something. lol. (PS, I am not criticizing her for not singing the whole song. It's up to them what parts they want to sing. I would rather have them sing some or most of the parts very well than the whole song just mediocre)
