HD was there for ages, this video maybe has been recorded on 35mm video camera with a tungsten film. The resolution of 35mm can up to 5.6K, 5 times more than full HD. They will scan this film at 4k resolution and then resize to 1080p to increase sharpness and then color correct them to correct the white balance and colors and remove color cast, grain and noise to make it look better.
