Its a corset and should be worn 24 hours daily or can only be taken off when taking a bath. Its to protect her lower back from herniated nucleus pulposus or disc bulge otherwise she will be paralyzed if the nerve will constantly compressed.

@Singapore Pearl she didn't autotune the heavily out of nothing! It was her real tone and quickness back in that era. Her voice was in excellent shape since her pregnancy.

@Singapore Pearl the tracks WERE heavily processed, which means vocals were edited a lot more than a normal voice track would. More compression, more fade, even chopped and put together so her notes faded and not stop abruptly. But AUTOTUNED they were not! Which autotune corrects notes and the overall singer performance, but Mariah didn't need it and she made it clear at that time. She didn't need that much processing, her team even uploaded the wrong version of the art of letting go on FB which it was not yet mastered and finished and it sounded great too.

@@IsmaCarvantes Not autotuned because if it is, she will sound robotic. Most likely they used Melodyne. MIAMTEC is overly produced just to sound like her in 2005. I don't doubt her capability but her hitting G#5 or A5 on that time is doubtful. Her F5 and G5 in her recent tour is lipped. Some of her E5 to C5 is forced. Her low notes and whistle notes is still intact no matter what. I'm hoping that she adapt more to her current voice. She needs like to produce jazz or ballad. She needs yo avoid alcohol or wearing corset just to hide her imperfection. She is aging and I accept that fact but she needs to accept it first. I'm still hoping for her best because I'm watching some of her recent performance and she is doing a great job although some flaws are very evident. I don't care if she dodges some big notes as long as she is able to sing, I still want to hear her. Youngsters need to hear her voice.
