My husband died in June 2023 and then my dad died in August 2023. I was walking yesterday and this song came on, and it brought me to uncontrollable tears. My heart broke when I heard it, but it also made me reflect on both my husband and my father for the rest of the day, and I know that one sweet day, I will see them both again. Until then, I feel them shining down on me. That feels good.

my husband died 8/2021 and my mom died 10/09/23, exactly 1 week after my parents' 54 year wedding anniversary. It has been hard as my youngest son is a senior, and misses the talks, outings, wisdom and so much more he shared with his dad, and he shares the same birthday as my mom(01/130)!! I thank God for blessing me with two extraordinary people, who impacted me greatly. I am thankful to have my dad around and the communication that we still have. In all things give thanks( 1 Thessalonians 5:18) is what I pray my attitude to be towards my God!

I lost my friend last week to suicide, simply because he didn’t feel “accomplished” enough. 27 years old with such a bright future ahead of him - please check in on your friends and enjoy every moment. We live in such a fast paced world where it’s easy to be “busy”, but we need to make time to reach out and be a support person. God bless you Idriss ❤️ Can’t wait until we meet again.

Try and find peace, I know saying it means nothing, but there will be a ray of light that will help, can't say what that ray of light will be, but I know. I lost two of my children with two years, one to an accidental overdose(2017), and my baby girl(2018), 10 days before Christmas, well she was 15 when she was beaten to death by a so called group of friends...nothing will ever replace them or your friend, just know it doesn't end there or here, what keeps me going is believing in seeing them again, but not yet. I'm sure your way will find you soon. And yes please enjoy every moment, and never assume they will always be. And never ever leave things unsaid and forgive...Hope you find peace Michael Jay.

Lyrics Sorry, I never told you All I wanted to say And now it's too late to hold you 'Cause you've flown away So far away Never had I imagined Living without your smile Feeling and knowing you hear me It keeps me alive Alive And I know you're shining down on me from Heaven Like so many friends we've lost along the way And I know eventually we'll be together One sweet day Darling, I never showed you Assumed you'd always be there I took your presence for granted But I always cared And I miss the love we shared And I know you're shining down on me from Heaven Like so many friends we've lost along the way And I know eventually we'll be together One sweet day Although the sun will never shine the same I'll always look to a brighter day Lord I know when I lay me down to sleep You will always listen as I pray And I know you're shining down on me from Heaven Like so many friends we've lost along the way And I know eventually we'll be together One sweet day And I know you're shining down on me from Heaven Like so many friends we've lost along the way And I know eventually we'll be together One sweet day Sorry, I never told you All I wanted to say

@ungoliver4 жыл бұрын
Kris-Fil-a people remained the same over the course of time. Nostalgic comments of the past are so retarded most of the time. People care about each other as much as they did in the 90s, maybe even more given the fact that diversity, equality and representation become more and more of a standard.
@bustedkeaton4 жыл бұрын
Its a very sweet song, but it was written and recorded to make money. People cared 23 years ago as much as they care now, and trying to make the 90s sound like some sort of simpler time is just backward thinking. Surround yourself with the people you want to cherish, it can happen anywhere and any decade

@loveconquersall1432 жыл бұрын
I totally agree with you. There ARE real singers still singing now too though (ie Adele, Rita Ora, Pink & many others can sing), but there just seems to be far too many badly written songs (ie empty, vacuous lyrics) and far too much auto-tune used - which often absolutely obliterates & ruins songs that would otherwise sound quite good really. It's such a shame. #deathtoautotune

Unfortunately not so in Indonesia. Many know Mariah, Whitney, MJ, Celine, Aretha, and a lot more but they don't listen to their music. I was born in 2003 but I absolutely love old songs. It has its own vibe whereas the music nowadays are garbage and basically sex, twerking, and stuff. I've always loved RnB for a reason, although Michael is an exception. He's just AMAZING. I respect all of them a lot and I still listen to their songs to this day, which a lot of teenagers don't get to experience, sadly. I wish Mariah would do music like these again, I love her music in her younger times.

@@anothernerdontheinternet Old town road is a well written fun song with elements of country and rap brilliantly combined together. Production is good too. One sweet day is decent but nothing special. There's a reason this song is forgotten by many people. There are songs that are much more classic than this in the 90s.

Heaven here in the earth for the Haven mind (clean up after work) for I feel when Donald downgraded Hati and Mother Africa and I said to myself he just couldn't hold back the sensation of modernize social club and we as black brown mud people whatever you title the Nubian I feel him on the idealogy of the past for I feel him on the Jim Crowe law for I got it thanks to my elder (they won't work I bet they will steal from you) for so many of us lack authority bring back the Jim Crowe then I will be able to hum some of them OLD NEGROS SPIRITUAL something like that old Disney whistling while we work
