L A Well this song original song sung by Brenda Starr is from the 80s and music is always evolving, so we gotta keep watching out for and supporting artists of today that have depth. Maybe not like this type of sound but at least with depth. Most of them are not in mainstream media or played on the radio every single day. We gotta be picky. Apart from Adele, I find that there are many great artists from the UK who are actually very good. I just recently listened to Joy Crookes. She’s quite an act. Very simple but soulful. Listen to her “Mother May I sleep with Danger Please?” I discovered her on A COLORS SHOW. Apart from Joy Crookes, there’s Raveena. Listen to her “IF ONLY” also on colors show. And then there’s Daniel Caesar and H.E.R. There’s Lianne La Havas. Oh my gosh! I just remembered Sabrina Claudio. Listen to her song “Frozen” or “Stand Still” or “ I Belong To You.” She also has a sweet sensual sound to her.
