@Lee Irby she did she wrote the lyrics and melody 100 percent on her own even the background vocals. The producers and the composers just help with the instrumentals which she takes part in as well since she doesn’t just let them be like “ok. U guys deal with inst.”. Given that in all of her songs melody comes first not the instrumental like EDM, she should be more credited for songwriting. When you say you write your song, musically theoretically it’s melody and lyrics. Not to mention when you look into Vision of Love or Vanishing they sound like proper poems, if you get what I mean.
