This is a very old song yet her take of it is the one to beat. We are still waiting. Mariah Carey is not a good singer in my opinion. She simply is one of the best artists overall. She writes, produces and performs all of her music, the quality of her voice is that kind that makes you shiver and gives you goosebumps even today at 54 when well rested she is a master singer, people have stolen her confidence and of course she has aged b7t she can sing anybody on the charts under a table without a doubt. I just hope that people remember that there no such thing as "Mariah Carey has no career anymore" because the first time she came back with an album that sold 10 million copies and a single that stood 14 weeks atop the Hot 100 and her last studio album in 2018 was named by critics and m3dia like Huffington Post, New York times, LA Times and The New Yorker as one of her best in her entire career and her career is 250 million records sold and 19 #1 singles which is the most by any solo artist. People try to do things today because she did them first and she does them better too.
