some people are mad at larry's interruptions but honestly they are necessary because (even though i love mariah so much) she is a real rambler... like she can get a question and talks in a circle to answer it, which i understand she does because she doesn't want to give the straight forward answer, she wants the fans to understand everything, but man mariah CAN talk ahahha

that voicemail Mariah left her fans that they played at the end of this video had to do with Tommy sabotaging Mariah's career. THATS where the "emotional and physical breakdown" came from. Mariah was struggling to keep up the momentum in her career after her first divorce because Tommy was actively working against her, because he felt like he made her career, and he could not only break it, but he was going to show Mariah he could replace her, too. At least, that's how I see it when I put the pieces together.

It's really nice to see how far Mariah has come. She's a totally different woman now and I'm so happy that she's in a better place. Now she has two beautiful children and a husband that loves her. I love you so much Mariah

Wow it explains what she went through man I tell you these tabloids are really a mess its terrible that she had to work her ass off and not get the opportunity to take care of herself that's sad I'm glad she got better now I love you Ms. Mariah lol!

She was honestly so brave and groundbreaking to talk about these things the way she did after only one year, particularly a few months after the passing of her father. I understand that her label and publicist decided she had to address it in some way for the new album, but the insight and amount of details she gave were really impressive. She calmly addresses how it wasn't a nervous breakdown, but simply a physical collapse due to an insurmountable amount of pressure and exhaustion which any human would be susceptible to. On top of this, her recent diagnosis as Bipolar Disorder gives even further understanding of her behavior during several interviews throughout 2000-01. She clearly was sleep deprived and exhausted, and you can see it. Charmbracelet should have been a way more successful album, and I wish Mariah would have released "The One" instead of being intimidated about the damage that J Lo's single potentially would've caused. Mariah's true talent would have won in that battle.

OMG! Is that when J.Lo's I'm Real remix with Ja came out? Maybe that's why she was talking like that in her message. She was trying to figure out how Tommy knew about the song and had J.Lo sample and release it before Mariah could release Lover Boy which was originally the same sample J. Lo took, but Mariah had it first, it just wasn't released yet.

I don't pay any attention to all those trashy magazines(the "tabloids") anyways. I only pay attention to what the artist tells us what's going on in their lives.
