Current pre-recorded sections and what? She's doing night after night with an already fragile voice. The parts she does sing for all the songs sound good. There's improvement in tone, agility, fluidity and belts. She's not the only one. She's just terrible at hiding it. If she gave herself more movement & showed more emotion, no one would even notice. Celine uses pre-recorded vocals all the time, no one says a thing. I know MC placed the standards in the stratosphere for herself...but gadddamn! Can yall just let her be?? It's been almost 35 years of hyper-analysing her voice. Mariah will sing one line in the comfort of her home and you people will find 100 faults in it. But man i remember vividly waking up lookin at new clips from Whitney’s last tour and yes there were some bad moments but she also had some great emotionnallll moments where u just fellltttt wat she was singing even tho it wasn’t the Whitney we know her to be. She knew her voice was shot but she made sure to still give a live show and understood wat her voice could do. But the harsh reality is ppl will complain heavy Now(then give their flowers wen they gone🙄) and with Mariah bein a perfectionist, i dnt think she likes those negative criticisms as if she hasn’t shown she is a vocal beast throughout her career. But it would be soooooooo much more rewarding if she took rest like actual rest.. and did some vocal training that allows her to sing comfortably and with rest comes recovery of chords … I’ll take a year off well rest Mariah to comeback with great music and a tour any day over the se constant pop up tours where she has use a lot of pre-record.
