This my thought exactly just listening! She is a unique superstar; quirky, elusive, intelligent and has a sense of humor which comes across very well in her voice BUT many people don't get her at all but I ALWAYS have as a long time fan since I was in middle school, I'm now in my 30s. Her unique warm, fairly deep speaking tone its really distinct and the slight rasp was endearing and emotive like her singing voice but her singing is more expressive. I really enjoyed her showing more personality because maybe more people will see what I always saw.
