I never knew Mariah did this. The original song is one of the songs in my life's soundtrack (being born in the 70's, Diana Ross was always a favorite) and the existentiality of the questions it asks haunt me daily: Do I chase love or success? Why should I have to choose? Where the feck am I going? Do I know? Will I ever? (Gen-X problems.) Now I have an updated version by one of my favorite 90's artists. I would not be mad at a 20-something remake of this movie, too, but they would HAVE TO do it right. Did you know Diana Ross designed the dresses in this movie? That Rainbow/Yellow dress is still fashionable. If you haven't seen it. Please watch it. This is the movie that put Billy Dee Williams on the map and made your granma's cotton moist 😍. A "must see" for vintage lovers and fashion lovers.
