Great video; keep up the good work. I'm looking forward to seeing you in Washington. Keep encouraging others. Listening to you has convinced that my Public education in 60's and 70's was race based and that makes me a product or racism. Don't hate me because of what you may think about me. If you look at me I'm an old white man but; my ancestry is mixed race mostly cherokee, latino, black, white and most likely also chineese. But truthfully I have spent 2 years in the middle east and a Black Muslim in the USA only vaguely resembles those in the Sudan.

I Do not understand the last paragraph where you speak of Sudan Muslims vs American Black Muslims. Who cares what they (youth organizers) look like? People of many backgrounds or descendant are active in these movements. She doesn't know what you look like, so to defend your ethnicity is n/a. Keep up the good work and your realization of the education system being from a white capitalistic perspective was positive, keep that, but edit the identity (n/a) to a perspective of your experiences or delete (for a thumbs up).

Hello. Thank you for your kind words and support. I'm impressed by your mixed ancestry. I'm intrigued as of how you knew I was Sudanese. I agree with you, Black Muslims in USA vaguely resemble those in Sudan because we aren't surrounded by mosques, we aren't as literate in the Arabic language as they are, we aren't taught about Islamic history or practices in schools the way they are, and nor do we celebrate Islamic holiday's on a national scale the way they do. For us Black Muslims in America, it can be much harder for us to hold onto our religion simply because we aren't surrounded by an Islamic environment. I appreciate your kind words, and hopefully one day you will see me in Washington.
