You are a trooper...it's heartbreaking to see you enduring this. My first cancer was 6 rounds and my second cancer was 12 rounds - I hear you, I feel you and I understand. Every day is like 1000 years (that's how I felt anyway), and then one day it is over. Cancer treatments are truly horrible (internal radiation being the absolute WORST and horrifying) BUT.... thankfully when it's over, the sheer joy of leaving it behind does cast a beautiful fog over the memory of what you endured. Before you know it you will be recognizing the woman in the mirror again and you will be so proud of yourself - you might have thought you were tough before cancer - when this is over you will know it unequivocally!!!!! Bless you warrior!!!!

When I had chemo I had the same reaction no taste joint pain my heart goes out to you. The good news is that was 12 yrs ago. You will look back at this and remember all of it. I felt like as long as I had pain it was working, but I'm weird Lol. Love going to you try to take it one day at a time.

Don’t be sorry to cry!! Right now during this time in your life you will be surprised who’s really supportive of you! I was overwhelmed with so much love and support from my neighbors and my entire neighborhood it seems. So you cry, you laugh, you get angry if you want! I do!! And we deserve it!! We have every reason in this world to be emotional. Right now with the taxol I’m dealing with blurry cloudy eyes, mild neuropathy and joint pain more than I have from the start. From the start it was severe nausea and severe weakness. My hair is actually starting to sprout back! Lashes and brows are still nonexistent and no sign of them sprouting at all. But I pray they will all take off growing soon as chemo is over.

@@MariaMedeiros sis same for me too but I am glad I’m not as weak and nauseated like I was with the AC chemo and know it gets better sweet friend. We got this!!! We are tough and we are fighters!! I am praying hard for you as well friend because I know what you are going through. You keep fighting and you will get through these tough times. It’s going to get easier each day. Have faith in god and the power of prayer will help you breeze through this. If it wasn’t for my faith in god and all the prayers going up for me I wouldn’t be where I am today because believe me at the first bit of chemo I was to the point I was ready to stop it because I was sick and tired of feeling sick and tired all the time and someone told me that a positive attitude, having faith in God and accent all the prayers offered for me and that is what would get me through and so far it has. I am actually on my way to get chemo #14 but in total I have to do 16 rounds of chemo and that’s 3 different types in all. The first two have been the pure devil and one of the first types of chemo I had to take has the nickname the red devil. It was part of the AC treatment. After today only 2 more taxol to go! Hi Maria, I am praying for you. I went through Chemo for breast cancer as well. I also had bone pain and the doctor gave me Percocet for the pain. It really helps much better than Tylenol my doctor gives it standard. Bone pain can bring you to your knees and there really isn't any reason to experience that pain. I am an RN in the United States and we Nurses want patients to communicate their pain. You can also take medication for anxiety and sleep issues. The Dexamethasone is hard to deal with and taking something to relax really helps. This is a strong steroid and has many side effects. Communicate with your health care team and tell them what you need, since they aren't anticipating and prescribing for you. You can call the team between Chemo and ask for medications to combat the side effects of treatment. I hope this helps you. Best, Sue

Maria, I have been thinking really hard what to write to you, since you posted your diagnosis. I know that every little bit of support counts but I feel just writing here is just too little a thing for me to do, I should have been helping you more. Maria thank you for sharing your journey! It's so encouraging to know I'm not alone in this fight. I too just had my 2nd round if chemo. I have every side effect that you mentioned including being emotional. I have 4 more rounds of infusions before surgery. Stay strong my friend but even on the days when you're not so strong, IT'S OKAY!!! I'm learning that it's okay to just REST during this time. Our bodies are undergoing alot and we have to give it rest to in order to recuperate and allow the meds to do what they need to do to kill all cancer cells. Again, thank you for your bravery and strength in sharing your journey!! Hang in there!! This will be in hindsight of our rearview mirror before you know it!!! I have been through each symptom you are experiencing and have finally gotten through with my ‘bad’ chemo. You will also come out the other side very soon. Then you will be back to yourself before you know it!! Just hang in there and stay strong. You have the strength in you and you can do this ! My oncologist told me to take Claritin for the bone pain…..worked like magic! Ask your dr about this! It truly is amazing!!!

Try peppermint tea for your teeth!!! It truly helps soreness in your jaw, teeth, and gums if your doctor says u can!!! I hope your pain goes away!!!

Please research how Sugar feeds cancer cells! No on apple juice. Also consider an anti inflammatory diet, I did and I have no pain. So sorry you are fighting cancer it is soooo hard. Be sure to drink heavy greens drinks everyday.
