Finally somebody actually listening to these people. I always have to preface. Did you know that the lead singer of this band, Josh, partially wrote the song call Me maybe. Look at the writing credits. Yes that's call Me maybe.

I did indeed know that! Also, if you go back on my podcast episodes, you'll find episode No. 6 were I interview Sara Ramsay, Josh's sister. I hope to have Josh on my podcast sometime soon. :)

I agree so much about the guitar, I've missed their rock and pop punk era so much.

I know this song is setting up for rntire story of an album. That just makes me even more excited to see them release more.

Man, the guitars here aren’t just fantastic, they’re reminiscent of their first album, Fix Me, and an even a little bit of Josh’s early stuff as a teenager. This felt like a melting pot of every era.

Josh has taken great delight in very cleverly stringing things together, or so I've noticed anyhow.

Holy moly, that early run is . . . at least 2.5 octaves, isn't it? I know he has an even wider range than that, but in that line alone . . .

I'm a huge MTrench fan. This one is goood but hard to judge since I'm not sure if this is the album opener or not. It certainly sounds like one. I'm always excited to see what Josh gives us.

It’s totally an album opener. A perfect call to action song to start A Hero’s Journey.

I liked it, the only part I didnt like was towards the end where the drum solo just went to a completely different sound, felt a bit unsmooth

I bet you the album closer will bring this chorus' melody back but maybe lyrics saying "This extraordinary life" or something similar. Also an Ever After motif callback plus a Fix Me reference for good measure!!!
