"Listen" was the song that landed her a spot for the final one on one. The "Bakit Mahal Pa Rin Kita" was one of the songs that won the song writing and composition contest that ran along with the 4th season. It must've been epic if it was a one on one between Julia and Marianne but Vilmark did well too. Congratulations to the top 5. They all did great! 🎉🎉🎉

I think The Clash removed the reverb on that round (for the top 6 clashers) most of the online viewers recognized it that time. Jessie J Medley for Top 6 performance Listen for Top 5 performance followed by Bakit Mahal pa rin Kita (original song that composed for Her for her Top2 performance (1vs1)

No, I believe there is nothing to do with reverb. The compression of the audio is. And also, she lacks a bit with power/heaviness of her voice that's why it did not leave that much of impression.

about the reverb and any autotune. it is always removed for the Concert Round, it is one of the test for the clashers if they can handle it if given a chance for a concert. this round will really recognize your vocal power without any technical support.

"bakit Mahal pa rin kita"is an original song, The Clash Season 4 is not just for aspiring singers but they also opened a song writing contest for those aspiring composer or even a professional composer. They chose 2 original composition and they arranged it headed by The Clash resident musical director Marc Lopez. The 2 original songs was performed by Mariane and Vilmark on the finals night which is the season top 2 for a do or die round and this tagalog song made her a grand champion while "listen" is her fight song for top 5 which is made her moved in to the top 2. The Jessy jay medley is her entry song for round 5 or the concert level round where I think the production of the show decided not to put any additional to the audio or even to the microphone so their voices will sound raw and to really identify who is the great singer who will move to the finals. ❤️

If I'm not mistaken there is no reverb in Top 5 concert and final one on one. It's just there raw voice that's why you can see other contestants struggle as if they are being overpowered by the orchestra.

Also, they just need to sing with their normal or pure voice. Try to look at the other contenders during the LIVE TOP6 BATTLE. All of them are just using their pure voice. Hello Ovela, please also remember that the competition was weekly and contestants' voice also became weak and tired. The contest lasted for months and they have to practice not only one song because in The Clash they have to win the battle and once they were defeated, they have to fight for the "one on one" again. The practice time was limited, Also its finals and every contestants were so nervous during that time, comparing them with someone who just singing on stage for a show was completely immaterial. I've been watching your reaction video for along time and i am fan of your channel ... and i just noticed that everytime you reacts one of the artist sing the song from original singer sometimes you compare... like regine sing mariah song... you always look for mariahs tone and her ability how mariah sing or technique . But also you consider that you need also to forget how the original singer the way they sing to appreciate more the way other singer can sing even if that song is not their original song. :) more important for me is the originality not copying the orignal singer.
