Why Marianne Williamson is Running: "Just as it’s been said that war is far too serious a topic to be left in the hands of generals, the future of our country is far too serious to be left in the hands of traditional politicians. I have great respect for political experts, but the idea that only experienced politicians can lead us at this point in our history is preposterous. Experienced politicians led us into the wars in Vietnam and Iraq. Experienced politicians have led us to the largest income inequality since 1929. Experienced politicians have led us to the brink of environmental disaster. Experienced politicians have led us to where we are today. There are many other kinds of experiences needed in order to prepare the leader of tomorrow. What we most need now is a political visionary -- someone with a deep understanding of where we have been and where we need to be going. While car mechanics are important, they aren't necessarily the ones who know how to drive you to where you want to go. It is unreasonable to expect the mindset that drove us into the ditch, to be able to pull us out of it. It's not enough now to just know what's happening inside Washington; we need someone who also knows what's happening inside us.

In my Book I write: Who is more capable to ascending to the highest distinction of Patriotic, national Honor of the United States Presidency than Marianne Williamson? The time has certainly come for the female representation of Mankind to take her place as a legitimate governing authority of a Nation that recently purported to aspire to a "greatness" previously established but heretofore never realized. All of the women running for the Democratic nomination for Presidency are ready for this new challenge, but only one is "Super-Qualified" to take command of the new reins of Government - She knows emphatically "where the Power lies"! We should give her the chance to "Prove-it"!

I was recommended to read your book "Politics of Love" by a new found friend as I shared a spiritual journey I was partaking in, and I desire to do so, and I applaud your bravery to speak, but I am struggling to stay connected to your speech 9:42 into it. Department of youth for children. End the abetting of the war in Yemen. Two hundred billion dollars for reparations with a council led by the greatest political and philosophical black leaders deciding how it is spent. Teachers in Congress and the senate. Return the ancestral lands of the Souix to them. She's in favour of UBI and some version of universal healthcare and the green new deal. I agree that she should go into more detail about those, but I think she's building her policies about those issues. I'd like one of the interviewers to ask her to elaborate, because they're hot topics and I think people care about them.

Marianne, a lot of your argument it based on the US bill of rights. I honour that. I wish you would mention the "Universal Declaration of Human Rights" which was proposed by Eleanor Roosevelt (a woman). Many of the issues you bring up are in contradiction to that, not just the US Bill of Rights.

I like Marianne..but I do not particularly use the word God..I do suspect there's an Intelligent force that creates and underlies everything..but a lot of the myths of christianity and other religions don't check...so that is why I don't subscribe to the word God..among other things
