Marianne Williamson is the most sensible politician on the planet. She advocates for us (the USA) having a Peace Department. She's darn right. At this time, we have a military with over 2 million members, thousands of nuclear warheads, hundreds of billions of dollars of military equipment (despite having a record-high national debt greatly due to these purchases), but only one person (Anthony Blinken) who is representing our government's peace efforts.

Such a breath of Fresh Air !!! 👏 Whenever u think MW may sell out... she doesn't! Pleasantly surprises us each time, & always falls on side of standing up for issues & ppl. Should've given her a speaking spot .... And even now Harris should give MW top spot on OFBCI or something similar connecting faith and meaning with on the ground actions that help ppl. She's definitely got her "mystic jesus" energy going on. 🙏 ⚡️ So much energy & charisma, even youthfulness in spirit, for an older lady. @@josephregallis3394 Just in case you are interested in what really has happen, I've tried to summaries it for you here - There has never been a Palestinian state, only the British mandate of Palestine. In 1922 the mandate was split and the eastern part became Trans-Jordan. Did Jordanians steal the land of Palestinians?. In 1948 when the British Mandate expire and the Brits exited, the state of Israel was announced (including the land of Gaza and Judea and Samaria). The Arab League refused to accept the UN partition plan and instead started the Arab-Israel war. When the treaties were signed, Egypt gained Gaza and (trans-)Jordan gain Judea and Samaria ("west bank"). Did the Egyptians and the Jordanians steal Israeli land? Fast forward to 1967 - the Arab nations again attacked Israel. Now the lands of Gaza and West bank was lost to Israel from Egyot and Jordan respectively. Did Israel steal land from the Egyptians, the Jordanians..? My questions might be hard to answer, but rest assure - and all these wars certainly brought about a lot of suffering for the Arab, Jewish, Druid etc people living in this area. But rest assure, noone stole any land from the Palestinians - FYI - this etnic group was created as a narrative by arab leaders..

So what is this different path you speak of? How can current Hamas members be prevented from further massacres of Israelis? You correctly say that potential future members are only encouraged by the killing of current members (and as a by-product, civilians). Giving these civilian folks land to farm (or some other honorable work) and villages to be part of will help prevent them from joining Hamas. But current members will not be deterred by such measures, and most liberals have no idea what else can be done about them, besides what is being done already.

Thank you for your work and sharing your perspective. Re: Hamas War. I respectfully disagree. Yes, this war is horrible. Yes, we all want the conflict to stop. Ignoring the ideological roots of this conflict is either willful or ill informed. I respect its hard to fit the history of this conflict in a 2min sound bite. That said, Hamas themselves called this war "Al-Aqsa Flood" for theological reasons, outlined in the Quran & Hadiths. This entire conflict is scripted from theological end of days prophecies. Thats why they call the dead civilians martrys. For the extremists, this is a spiritual battle, not a national conflict. Thats why negotiations are so challenging. Think about it. If you were the leader of a nation state, would you raid a more power nation next door and take hostages? then refuse to give them up? no. why? because you value your citizens over ideology. The only reason this war started was because ideology was more important than the citizens of both Gaza and Israel. Unless the leadership changes in Gaza, along with the ideology, this conflict will not end. The leadership of Hamas could have ended the war months ago. They simply had to return the hostages and sign a Peace deal everyone believes is real. No more attacks against Israel. That's not going to happen because the theology and ideology have not changed. Any informed negotiator knows the extremists do not want peace. They want Israel gone completely. Anything less is not acceptable to them. Why? because the war is driven by theology and prophecies, not nation-state interests including the lives of the people in Gaza. The people of Gaza & Israel deserve an honest discussion, if this conflict is to end. Just one man's opinion
