That's why they did not like her. Even the GOP had better people than Trump but they were sidelined just as fast as the the Democrat other candidates. I voted for Trump in 2016 but soon saw that lots of it was smoke and mirrors with some crumbs handed out to people. But his endless talking and promoting stuff that never ended people began to believe that he actually accomplished immigration reform that he did not. They believe that he rally believed in no wars and troop withdrawal from around the globe - he did not. He simply saw the mood of the people, judged it correctly and ran with it. I was a Marianne Williamson supporter from the beginning, when everyone else derided her, called her crazy and strange. If you listen to her for only a couple of seconds you can realize she is the most eloquent and deeply intelligent and compassionate voice for progressivism and truly believes in the promise of the American experiment and it's promises to the people. I hope a new left coalition can form and whether that happens outside the Democratic party or not doesn't matter. I need something different and I want my progressive values to be represented fully. With such a large swing to the right. I hope we can get a larger swing to the left sometime in my lifetime. Thank you Marianne for always telling the truth and speaking to the soul of America.

Telling the truth isn’t popular in Washington. Also, they don’t want you there because you’re not there to take legal bribes from corporations. Unfortunately, these politicians are gaining way too much wealth. They have no incentive to change the system while they’re lining their pockets and becoming multimillionaires at the expense of the.Populus . I think Nancy Pelosi is a good example of that but there are examples on both sides. I’d say 90% of the politicians in there are sellouts and puppets. Only 10% or maybe there for the right reasons trying to serve the people instead of serve their bank account. Probably even less maybe 2%. Whoever believed him that he had a spiritual awakening probably also believes he’s the savior! I find it very scary that people think of him as some kind of savior now. But that’s not surprising from fundamentalist Christians, whose lives are built around the idea of a savior coming to rescue them. unfortunately that concept takes all of the power and responsibility away from the individual.. the whole concept of a savior or God being external is to take the power away from the individual and for individual spiritual beings to feel much more weak and powerless when in fact, we are all extremely powerful beings.

Dems did it to themselves. Marianne was my candidate. Took her out twice. And Bernie and Pete and Dean Phillips and Bernie. All these games in 2016, 2020 and now 2024. I pleaded with friends to think critically beyond the duopoly. They shut me down. The DNC kept Marianne off the primary ballot in Florida. So when she suspended her campaign I supported her to pay some of the campaign debt then I voted for Stein/Ware. Of course I knew they wouldn't win the White House but I was never again going to vote for the lesser of two evils. I vote for what I want, not what I don't want. I want change. I want voter choice. Given the shenanigans of the duopoly I voted for as close as I could get to choice. And I did it with enthusiasm. Not a single regret. I had no idea what Kabama stood for. She had no policies on her website until the last minute. Trump is clear on what he stands for but I don't support that.

There have been wonderful presidential candidates in modern history, but there is no denying that Marianne's candidacy was by far the most significant in many ways. And what the establishment democrats did during her 2024 candidacy is beyond heart-breaking. I am still taken aback by it all. The few vendors who were afraid to work with her campaign; the progressive organizations whose policies align with hers, but wouldn't even have a zoom call with her; the many people who conspired with the democratic party to "put a lid on it;" the de-amplification of her campaign; the promulgation of lies; election engineering; campaign infiltration; media blackouts; Bernie appearing in NH to parrot her platform and telling people to vote for Biden, and so on. This is heart-breaking on an unspeakable level. Despite it all, she endured and emerged with grace. She is the voice of our better angels, collectively.❣❣

My Dem friends say “there wasn’t time to pull a primary together” - but isn’t that because they were in denial about JB’s fitness to run and debate? They must have known long before the first debate what state their candidate was in and how quickly he was declining. In this Marianne is correct - they bypassed the process and it cost them the trust of the people and their best candidate. This elitism is what we have wanted to root out - the people want reform - getting corp money out of politics, repeal Citizens United and eliminate the electoral college - two big steps to bring the power back to the people. Give the candidates the same budget and the same air time to get their points across and let the people decide. Who is going to bring the reform we need? I think the people have been so frustrated by the elite bs on both sides for so long, they decided to blow the system up and let the chips fall. My theory is that DT is the personification of the contempt and outrage of the US public towards those who have been gerrymandering and addicted to their own power - silencing them for so long. Both parties have effectively imploded over the past decade. No one appreciates being coerced into registering to vote because a candidate is so unqualified - they want to be part of a system that actually has integrity! It’s not the fault of the people - sending a Trojan horse to the WH was their only real option.

A third party run can happen with all the right ingredients. And we’ve been handed some of them. Both of the main parties are going right. We’ve got 4 years to fundraise, but we need to name our candidate early. Starting small isn’t fast enough. It needs to be National, and Bernie is the only politician who could birth a new party. He won’t lead it, but he will mentor it.
