Thank you for these wonderful videos Maria. I studied years ago with Mariana Parra and Estrella Morena but I'm in Oregon now and there aren't great Flamenco schools here at all. So thank you!

Hi Maria! Thank you so much for providing these tutorials in English. At the end of this video you refer to another video about making an easy portable floor. I can’t seem to find it on your page, can you link me? Thank you, again! You are so helpful!

Hi Amy, sorry for my late reply. I was meant to start a partnership with a flooring company which got delayed due to the pandemic. Sorry not to be of further help at the moment...:-(

Hola me encantan tus videos. Te puedo hacer una recomendación? Te sugiero que los cuadros de pies sean hechos con falda, o con media larga, el pantalón dificulta un poco la visibilidad de tu técnica de movimiento del pie. Te agradezco mucho! Saludos!!!

Question: if you have knee problems can you make it worse by dancing flamenco?
@mariavegaflamenco3 жыл бұрын
Hi Vlad, it depends so much on your type of injury, so you need proper assessment from a healthcare professional. In general you need to be careful with footwork as can have high impact in knees and lower back. Apart from footwork, you can do so many other low impact movements in Flamenco.

Hi! What is the difference between the Spanish and Flamenco dance please? What about the Sevilanas??Thank you in advance!
@mariavegaflamenco5 жыл бұрын
Flamenco is just one type of all the Spanish dances, the Spanish dance heritage is much richer than Flamenco. I suggest for you to google "danza estilizada" "escuela bolera" and " danzas folcloricas de España" they are all part of Spanish dance. Maybe I should make a video about it!!:-) Sorry for my late reply and thanks a lot for watching!!

..wowww...thank you very much for your gentle and exhaustive reply....sure I will go to 'study' them:-) Have a nice flamenco week!
