At 17:12, a garage was on fire in the Brunšvik settlement, Starše municipality. Firefighters from Maribor Fire Brigade, VFD Starše and Prepolje extinguished the fire at the building, ventilated it and examined the building with a thermal imaging camera. Firefighters provided first aid to a person suffering from smoke inhalation until EMS arrived.

At 4:13 p.m., four trucks collided on the highway between the Maribor center and Maribor north exits. Firefighters from Maribor Fire Brigade, with the help of DARS workers, secured the scene of the accident, disconnected the batteries on the vehicles, sprinkled the spilled dangerous liquids on the road with absorbents and prevented further leakage. Two people were injured in the accident and were transported to UMC Maribor.
