Marie's passing is a bit too much for me. Last year, Dolores O'Riordan of the Cranberries died. Now Marie is gone too. Both of those bands were a HUGE part of my life and I still listen to their music today. Rest in peace Marie. I'll always keep listening to your wonderful voice...

She started playing with her hair around the "Pearls of Passion" time. You can actually see in one of the videos from that album where she appears with a somewhat volumized shoulder-length bob as well as with the lower sides brushed back. The latter obviously evolved into Marie's later hairdos, which I personally loved.

I like seeing her interviews where she speaks English. So many videos she is speaking her native language Swedish without subtitles. She was so sexy. I love how she moves when playing guitar in the videos. What an amazing talent. I admire her grit & tenacity to keep going in spite of her obviously weakened health. She carried on. So many loved/love her. Don't think past tense because we still love her. She is not gone. She went where we all will go one day. Now she sings with angels.
