If you are saved, you get a seal, a circumcision in your heart, you get adopted, and those 2 things alone tell me we can mess up but we are still saved. Who a loving father disown his own child he adopted. Would a loving father cast you out of the family for mistakes and failures. Even the best intentions dont bring the best results. His ways are not our ways. If you are saved, and you mess up, you’d repent and keep going.. NOW if anyone can prove to me how we can be circumcised in our heart/sealed with the Holy Spirit of PROMISE, and somehow by our actions cause that Holy Spirit of PROMISE who Jesus said will be with us and in us FOREVER, if we can mess up and lose salvation, that to me is counting the blood of Christ unworthy. But the Lamb of God is worthy. He paid for all and it is finished. I’m actually looking at ‘marks’ God put on ppl. Adam probably had a scar where his rib was removed. Cain was marked so he wouldn’t be killed., we have a seal in our hearts, Jesus has scars,.....and then finally Antichrist will require a mark on ppl. Antichrist is a fraud. But my point is i believe you are not going to lose your salvation...it is God’s saving Grace that saved you. You didn’t save yourself. You didn’t seal/circumcise your own heart, you didn’t redeem yourself, its all about JESUS

@@Laurie-BoYESHUA Beautifully said. If you are saved and feel guilty when you sin and hate it and repent, you are in good shape. When someone gets saved and then goes reprobate, they probably were never saved to begin with. Jesus died for our past, present and future sins. We are not supposed to live in fear and anxiety over eternal security. We, as joyful & peaceful Christians, will be able to draw many people to Jesus. The lost see something they are missing and are drawn to Jesus in us. God bless you all. :)

you can actually crush your own spirit with self hatred and rejection...we have no righteousness ..He is our righteousness...we can not do it...He must work in us...that pleases Him...He is waiting for us to come to an end in ourselves...we can accept ourselves ...because He accepts us just as we are...you could apologise to your inward self for crushing..blaming...condemning..make peace with yourself...He is our righteousness...Nothing...Helpless..Restful...let Him work.. Restful Ness is not passive..it is an inward attitude of the heart..and is actually militant...

We can of ourselves do nothing. But Christ in us is our strength and our peace. It is only by His power that we are saved, His grace, His choosing and using us. God wants yielded vessels not strong in self vessels. Keep seeking the Lord, keep pressing toward the high call. It is God in us who does the work, not us. If you think you can do anything, you are exalting yourself above God, making you an idol unto yourself. Please dont take this as condemnation. We ALL have ‘stuff’ we deal with. If a person even looks at a woman with lust, he has committed sin already. BUT GOD has made us clean and HE will preserve us and keep us blameless before Him in love...we are in Christ, keep your eyes on Jesus, the savior, deliverer, the one who will present us to Himself as spotless...blameless....what you are desiring, quit smoking, is the spirit of God in you convicting you and not condemning you. Love yourself as He loves you. As we keep our eyes on HIM the things of the world will fall away. SIN HAS BEEN PAID FOR, just repent after each cig and keep going with God because it is God who works in us, we cant earn anything from God...we simply receive HIS free gift. It is by GRACE we are saved, and not of ourselves. Dont be your own God, dont be your own judge. God is our righteous judge and He is the True and Living God. Seek His love and you’ll find rest, peace, forgiveness, and true holiness. Not one person is without sin, which is why we need Jesus. The great mystery speaks of Christ and the church. We are His bride, He cleans us through His Word. .....also, every time you stumble, just praise God for His mercy and grace, shake off the dust and keep pressing in. I’m learning how we die daily. And it is Christ in us who lives, not ourselves. If we are dead with Him, you cant be tempted to smoke. You cant tempt a dead person cuz dead is dead. Our life is in Christ. Praise the Lord.

often these addictions come out of brokenness...loss..unhealed truama...but Jesus is the healer of broken hearts.the restorer of those crushed in spirit...you could ask the Lord to show you any root or wounding or place of emptiness..and to come to that place...and see what He does...the teacher..the comforter..the one who is always there...and always has been...you have never been on your own ever...He has always been... there...let the eyes of your heart see Him...and the depths of His love..a key is to practice His presence...a branch on the vine...attached to your life source...abiding in rest..many blessings..
