Marietta College's rowing program carries a rich history, evident in the features of the Lindamood-VanVoorhis Boathouse. The boathouse is just three-fourths of a mile from campus at the confluence of the Muskingum and Ohio Rivers
The facility was constructed in 1929 with grindstones quarried near Marietta. A second floor was added to the boathouse during an extensive renovation in 1974.
Further renovations in 2016 included a completely new second floor that features modern locker rooms for both teams, an enlarged Dad Vail Room, a training space for 40-plus ergs, and a new sliding rack system in each bay.
