I remember meeting Steve Hogarth at the Birchemere in Virginia USA. I was asking him some questions and people were coming up and saying H how are you and stuff. He turns around and politely says, Please, I will be with you in a minute, I would like to have a bit of this man's time. I just thought, MY TIME???? Wow. He gave me about 5 more minutes of attention then he excused himself and moved on. I will never forget that.

One of my older Brothers met them on several occasions and even had a few drinks with them in and around Philadelphia. Sadly the one and only show I had the chance to see them was cancelled at the last minute. They were scheduled to play at the 23 East Cabaret in Ardmore Pa. several years ago..

I often wondered where some of the ideas for their song originated. Not only Marillion, but Many Progressive Rock bands like Genesis, Yes etc.. Makes me wonder what type of literature Jon Anderson was reading when they wrote pieces like "Tales From Topographic Oceans" for instance. 🤔
