I don't think he EVER sounded this good before. I mean, his voice sounds pretty much identical to how it sounded in 1991 and he hasn't really learned any new vocal tricks since then, but somehow, there's more soul in this performance than anything else in his entire career. I first heard the Blutengel version of this, which i also like. But this, this is gold! Although it may not be what the whole song is about, when Manson sings the chorus, I always think its my brother calling me to be with him. I lost my brother to suicide 5 years ago. I feel like its him calling to me, to break him free from the hell he was living. Too many times since his death, I did want to follow him. Im the baby sister. My brother and I were very very close. I cant wait until the day I get to see him again! I love you Stephen!
