Hmmm .. ok I have a couple recommendations for manson. Xyu by Smashing Pumpkins Farewell and goodnight by Smashing Pumpkins I wanna f*ck you by akon Xyu is a mega rage filled song billy did for MCATIS I think its about Courtney love. The akon song is intriguing because it's so vastly diff , the same for farewell and good night . What I've personally been dying to hear and what I have dreamed up for a while. this is a abomination of the johnny cash cover. AI is not able to do a song like this, because its power comes from the life of the person singing it, its why when johnny sings it, it carry's more weight the the original song writer only because of Johnny's age, regret of a 20 year old man is sad, but the regret of a man at the end of his live is more absolute, because he does not have the time to fix and build again, its final. that's why something that has no life and no regret can not sing this song, it just has zero impact.

@@Luveluen fair statement, I guess I just feel the johnny cash version resonates with me more due to my age and maybe I just feel more weight in the regret of a old man then the sadness of a younger man. its just my biases and preference. silver lining is, at least we agree that there is some things Ai will never be able to do. Ok, I'll bite. :) I would argue that Reznor's plight at the time is somewhat equal to an older man at the end of his lifetime. I believe Trent was battling the demons of addiction, depression, and anger at the time of Hurt's writing. Those feelings can absolutely put a "young man" in the mindset of him being at the "end of his lifetime" as well. Whether that be by the drugs, or by suicide. Very similar lyrics to a lot of Layne Staley's songs too, for similar reason.
