"I'm full of love and nobody wants it" "I'm full of hate and I love it"
When I was a young misunderstood teenager, no friends, extreme acne all over my face and a beginning drug use... this song literally keept me from suicide. Mansons music made me feel like I belonged somewhere. Like he understood me and "talked" too me. It is so weird, he has been accused of so much shit over the years, and his music literally saved my life. 15 years later as an adult - with a great life - I still really appreciate both his music and deep lyrics. Rock on MM!

I love Manson's music, but I don't quite agree with some of the things he's done as a person, none of us are perfect that is for sure, but even for me, some of the things that he has "Consensually" done, crosses a line for me. Still love his music though and his art.

@@thebeastjs But too much accuses man. Even the singer of wolf alice told that he record her from under her skirt with go pro. Marlyn is a sick guy that you can see. All his pain, art, beauty of his singing come from this sickness like most of all the beautiful art that produced. But there is the limit, art is that limit that keep you from draining your anger and sickness to the outside world with violance. You can sing, paint, write everything, you can squirt your sick soul out with all of those things, but not to the people with harming them. I think Marlyn crossed that line. Nothing to say more, I used to like to listen him as well. But you know what? It's just the sickness in my hearth that made me enjoy him. I was really enjoyed that time to find someone sick as me. I was a terrible acne case as you as well. Hating everybody. Hating life, myself, my mother, god everything. Now I see the mercy of the god and how evil in my hearth fulfilled my hearth with all that anger and rebellion. How its blinded me to all of those good things that i have. Sure we seperated from others and suffered and that maked us rebellious. But when i go back and think my life again I see how all those suffering saved me from being arrogant basic human being, drunk with the lust of the world, a ordinary sinner of the 21.ceuntry. Pain saved me man and when I was going though, Marlyn helped me a little. But he was not a saint. He was just a guy who lived with this sickness all of his life and suffered from his endless rebelion to god and lusts of sin. After 11 months edit: i forgot to say, i am gratetful to him afterall. “When i hate it i know i can feel here, but when you love you know its not real” what lyrics man.

@lestatsluv3173 ай бұрын
Manson isn't Goth. He dresses alternative (and I strongly suspect he absolutely loves Goth music privately) but his music isn't Goth....at least, it wasn't back then. Don't Chase the Dead sounds very Goth and now that he's working with Tyler Bates, I assume he's going to finally give us a somewhat Goth album. But it was a whole battle back in the 90's trying to get people to understand his music wasn't Goth and it caused a huge rift between Manson's fans and Goths, a rift that got much worse after Columbine.... which left us Goth Manson fans in the middle of the fight. It was a whole thing. 😂😂😂 It was as ridiculous as it sounds. Lol Robert Smith is technically King of the Goths and I suppose Sousxie is the queen?

This is a retelling of the fairy tale "Hansel And Gretel". About two kids who run away from their parents to find a better life, in this case, it's the two old men in the beginning, and stumble across a Gingerbread House, which was made by a Witch to lure children into the house to cook and eat them. In this case, the "Witch" takes the children into a better place, turns the old men (Parents) into a pie, or food, and the kids eat their enemy. In a still from this video, you can see a painting entitled "Saturn Devouring His Children", and is another influence on this video. The video goes great with the song, which is about the Columbine shooting.

Pff. Everytime I watch this video I am blown away at how much he gives to the performance. I mean he's so dedicated that he put his mouth in the dirty mud water as an artistic choice and didn't even flinch. All the poses and the facial expressions lend so much to these characters that we only know by the image of their costume and his acting out their personalities.

Used to wonder what Marilyn Manson was about long ago, had some Marine Brothers who swore by his music and he was up and coming then. Scaring the Bejeezus out of the upper class.... Because of labeling I didn't really listen with a close ear, I'm 41 now listening with a very different ear and I give this man the upmost credit for his work. The energy alone in his songs makes him stand amongst the greats!!! Thank you for your contributions to our lives thru your music Mr. Manson, and best wishes for you and your family.. You've helped many with your music, one fan sending a hug your way. Imagine how people look when I pull up with Killing Strangers playing off 2 15" subs in my car. 🤣 ✌🏾🤟🏽🖤

I love how he makes such scathing critiques of society in many of his songs/videos. His music stands for something, which is something you don't see much of today. I was never much into his music until I saw his interviews all over the place, and he seemed so intelligent and reasonable. He really has some of the best lyrics of anyone in the past 20 years.

So so true and of course the Christian masses wanted to blame Marilyn Manson…like for real ?
@torstenscholz62432 жыл бұрын
@@danielle228512 Of course he had to be responsible. MM was one of the most provocative media personalities of the 90s, so for conservative and Christian people he was an easy scapegoat. Only problem is that, contrary to media misinformation, the Columbine attackers didn't even listen to him, they were rather into Rammstein and KMFDM.
@danielle2285122 жыл бұрын
@@torstenscholz6243 the 90s really sucked in the fact that unless you were a “perfect” individual you were completely ostracized and told you weren’t good enough. Music like MM helped me feel more accepted as I felt like the black sheep in school and in my family. Thanks fully today society has become more accepting however we still have far to go in acceptance in each others differences.
