It's heartbreaking but I still enjoy and appreciate hearing Marilyn speaking about her life. Norma Jeane was an actress even as a child and maybe even before she seriously thought about being one. For Norma Jeane I suspect that the acting she did based on movie she saw was partly for fun but partly and unconsciously a way to cope with her life over which she had no control. I can believe she reached her full height at a very young age: one of the girls I knew in elementary school was very tall but by the time we graduated from high school her height would have been considered average or even slightly less for a woman or our age group.

Obviously, from archival interviews, we know she was always a creative and intellectual survivor who was SO much more than some of her "roles" allowed her to be. So sorry she could not have children. An unpretentious and delightful woman. God Bless you Norma Jean.
