You have to be very smart to be able to do a parody of yourself, and yet it’s still her unique sexually-charged charm - and the comedic timing with her priceless facial expressions, yes, it takes real intellect and savvy! I love that Marilyn - one the one hand, we know out of any man’s reach - always allowed us to think she’d like us! I love when she pulls Benny in by both lapels- like she’s in charge! God damn she was amazing and yet she thought so little of herself... goes to show how our inner thoughts and what ppl close to us say to us, about us, can wreak havoc on our self-esteem and how we see ourselves. She was absolute perfection but saw herself as a fraud, as if she had somejow convinced ppl she was an actor and shed be found out at any minute when she was an amazing actress who more than deserved her name in lights. It kills me that she never saw herself in true light. I will never believe she killed herself purposely or accidentally. Her death was due to someone else and its heart breaking that only she and a few ppl truly know what happen that night.

Marilyn is the ONLY one who can be so alluring and sumptuous with every breath, and her breathless delivery is so sexually charged and yet she’s funny doing a good hearted parody of herself as the audience simultaneously laughs at Benny, and falls in love with Marilyn with every expression! That's demonstrated here- but only in a FANTASY could he ever get "that close" to Marilyn Monroe! He later said her performance in this sketch was "wonderful"...
