In case anyone else is curious the statue of the man on horseback is called 'The Copper Horse' and depicts King George III in classical garb. Installation of the statue was finally completed October 31, 1831. More details on Wikipedia.

Very nicely done. Really enjoyed it all especially the photos you matched up. I'm born and raised in the states and had absolutely no problem with your accent. I've been in love with Marilyn since I was a little boy and lived in Southern California when she was still alive, so this was especially interesting to me. I was going to see if you passed my test and messed up anything lol, but you did not. Well done. 👌

Really interesting lt jones, love the then and now photographs, as for your accent i can understand you clearly no problem, not like some welsh accents. as for marilyn they always come to a untimely death dont they, its so deppressing.

Ive visited Marilyns LA haunts many times ...was a very frequent visitor to her grave site and her house in LA ! I been a Marilyn fan for a lot of years ! Really interesting video as always. The ducks are Mallard, and the geese are Egyptian Geese (introduced into the UK in ornamental gardens in the 18th century). 🙂

Great work. Mysteriously there is a old faded blue plaque in Nottingham ( Sneinton neighbourhood ) on a house saying that Monroe stayed here'. . But there are no details, or evidence that i can find to its accuracy.

@@LTJones Likely will remain a mystery. Speculation. She had a pal in Nottingham. But its also strange that a blue plaque exists, which I don't think is so much a thing outside of London..

That long path leading up to Windsor castle, there is a road adjacent to. I was parked on a double yellow line in a van trying to find a house, I heard a beep and what passed me was Rowan Atkinson in his McLaren car, giving me the middle finger🤣 not like Mr Bean now is it 😂
