@@theultrawarrior7448 Antichrist Superstar is obviously a great album but I do think the production on it definitely makes it feel like a product of its time comparitively (and I don't mean that in a bad way at all) which is why I specifically said 98. Cus it's mainly Mechanical Animals and Golden Age that feel that way, very ahead of their time production wise. A bunch of tunes on Holy Wood too fit that bill so 98-04 feels more accurate when it comes to the point I'm trying to make. Love ACSS tho!

Fun fact: The Golden Age of Grotesque was the first ever album my mother bought me, thinking it was a funny clown on the album cover. I was about 10-12 years old at this time. The first song i played was this song and i played this on my grandma's cd player. My grandparent's faces were priceless. Plus, being a real curious boy, i found the videoclip ( this one) and kept spamming it whenever i visited grandpop and grandmom. Those were the days.

Remember visiting one of my favorite bars mid-week and mid- afternoon as some lame ass bro country tune was playing. Ordered a beverage and asked the barmaid what was the horrible sound the jukebox was making. She cheerfully answered Luke Bryan. Then went on a three minute tirade about how hot he and his music was. Not knocking the gentleman but not my cup of tea. Proceeded to line up 6 Manson songs in a row. New Shit was obviously first and before the song was half finished they turned it off. Clearly pissed, asked for jukebox money back and they refused. Drank beer, left and never went back. Had frequented this establishment for 30 years but if I can't hear my music whilst I drink, FUCK 'EM!!! Evidently they weren't ready for the new shit
