Wish you could dedicate a little more time on "Oh No!". I find it one of the most brilliant songs ever, because its lyrics speak so many truths about being an insecure overachiever (feel like I'm the worst so I always act like I'm the best), look for protection in delusions (TV taught me how to feel, now real life has no appeal) and overall I feel it touches a really specific/peculiar type of personality of some humans.

@@purrr140 i think FROOT > The Family Jewels > LOVE + FEAR > Electra Heart It's not that Electra Heart was bad by any means, it's just that that was when the pressure was really on Marina to be as successful as possible and appease the critics, and it's also the least "her" album. She's recently said she doesn't feel a connection with EH anymore although she still feels connected with TFJ. I llke Love + Fear a lot, it's just that it's a super different sound from the Marina we're used to, and also I'm not used to the songs being shorter than usual (Has anyone else noticed?? All of her songs aside from To Be Human, ironically my favorite, are only 3 minutes long while FROOT all has songs that are 4 mins long aside from CPMD). TFJ was great because of how outrageous and unusual it was, it was her debut album and really put her on the map, and was a lot less manufactured than EH was FROOT is the album that for me is just an extremely enjoyable listen from start to end. My only problem is that INHA wasn't included

This album holds up after all these years. Still one of my favourites. To me this is a perfect album. Just queue it up and press play. Every track hits and I never skip a song. If I had to pick a favourite song, I'd have to go with Mowgli's Road. I loved your video! You should check out V V Brown's album Travellings Like The Light. Another perfect album, to me. You've probably heard Shark In The Water, but the rest of the album is SO GOOD!

This is my favorite Marina album, and perhaps my favorite album ever. I remember listening to Seventeen on Spotify when I first got interested in Marina and I was hooked on the album from that point. My favorites now are Are You Satisfied, The Outsider, Numb, and Seventeen. But I love each song, and my favorites change from time to time.

Obsessions and Numb are two of my favorite songs by marina, ever. they’ve helped me through some tough times for sure. Numb: “I got dark only to shine. Stars that burn the brightest, fall so fast and pass you by. Cough like empty lighters.” Some of the most beautiful lyrics ever written. I Am Not A Robot was the first time I ever heard of Marina. I was in Mexico and they kept replaying her video every 30min on MTV. I hated it but eventually I memorized the lyrics lol. That’s when I looked into her music and fell in love.
