@@ciprianistrati3648 It's not a excuse at all. Her father indeed died last month and she is sick for two days already (third day now) with fever and pharyngitis (inflammated and soar throat). It showed unfortunately in her vocals cause she was in pain. If you watch other live performances of her you will see that she is an amazing live vocalist.

I was very happy Marina managed to pull it off even she is currently sick with fever and Pharyngitis (it showed in her vocals that she was struggling a bit because of the pain) and that people still supported her. :)

Two small points. Any instruments you hear on Eurovision are not live. The only thing that is live are the vocals and background singers. Even when people go up with traditional instruments they are just pretending to play those as they have all been prerecorded or computer generated. The audience is almost entirely Europeans from all over the continent but I don't think there are many Americans at all. You never see American flags.

In the semifinals she had laryngitis, she couldn’t sing properly. Also, her father died 2 weeks prior to this, so one can bet she wasn’t 100% in her game . Try listening her on the finals, she sounds way better
