I actually use some of my old socks for my own legwarmers/boot-toppers. I just cut the feet off, and use the leg/cuff for as long as I can to help my legs stay toasty!

That's such a great use for them; especially for when you're out walking and feet might get a bit too warm in boots but the ankles are chilly.

Welcome back, Marina! As it happens I am wearing your Fanlight jumper today and I love it. Your current backdrop is lovely - the bricks of the fireplace, the old chair, a bit of greenery. Your latest vest design is fabulous - a nice vest with buttons is hard to find without it looking masculine. Your design is perfect. I'm not a fan of toe-up socks but I just might need to try again as those Cordage socks are so pretty and the fleegle heel sounds interesting.

so happy to see you back ! i am actually knitting with some of your mendip 4 ply as i watch this!! [in fern stormy :)] when i made my first knitting podcast like two weeks ago i mentioned mendip 4 ply multiple times haha and that made me realise how much i like it as a yarn.... your cordage socks are rly lovely ! ♥
