the actually the opposite. It's more the expectations of teen age years she wants because from 16 to 21 it was a blackout for her. Feeling lonely, studying too much obsessing over every thing in her life holding it in place so she could be a singer. The song's more a satistic play on darkness and Innocence. The small expectations of parties, getting drunk, a lover getting out of your town, most teenagers don't they can't even leave the house. I'm def one of them... And i'm a dude too.
