exactly, if people listen to her FAQ'in Hell she does explain the reason behind making the albums. they are like diary pages of her life. According to Marina TFJ and EH were some very rocky states in her life. its was chaotic and just all around messy and now Froot is the opposite, she has found herself and she so much happier now compared to what she was back then. i think people should enjoy the albums for what they are and stop comparing them to each other because really all three of them are amazing and unique in there own different ways

This is such a smooth song. It's so pleasing to the ear. Her voice is so much better than it used to be, too. In TFJ it was honestly pretty crackly and shaky. Her voice seemed much smoother but had that super gritty sound in the low notes in EH (which was probably a precursor to her vocal cord rupture). Now her voice is smooth in the highs and lows, which seems to suggest her singing technique has gotten better. I'm loving this new album, not only because the songs are great but because her technique is so much better.

I was listening to this... and accidentally pressed the play button on my keyboard for iTunes. The song I had been in the middle of listening to a couple days before was "Troubled Mind" and it just happened to be up to the part where it says "low self-esteem", which, right after I pressed play, played at the EXACT same moment as it was playing on here-- "a good self-esteem". i'm still freaking out XD
