@@cmaquatics7428 I've been known to use a q-tip and a bit of peroxide to clean a frag plug here and there but, other than that, what chemicals are used for algae removal?

Hey Michael, people incorporate different things for different issues. The only thing I really use is activated carbon. I'm not sure if that qualifies as a chemical or not. Some other things are Flux rx, running gfo, vinegar, hydrogen peroxide, chemi pure additive. There are a lot of things on the market now. I try not to use anything unless it is out of hand but I don't let it get to that point and just maintain nutrient levels with water changes and maintenance. For the most part I don't really have any algae issues but everybody will get some occasionally.
