Thank you both, sincerely, for keeping this up and a tremendous congratulations for an inevitably more and more successful podcast. Trillions spent with these wars and foreign countries, I don't even know how to count to a trillion! Here is one they didn't mention, how many years has the government been threatening social security and every person who worked their entire life, only to have their measley pension check threatened because they keep saying social security money may run out? Joey takes care of his neighborhood like Gotti and the old-timers took care of theirs. I'm from Ozone Park/Howard Beach. Growing up, people were safe. You knew not to fuck around here. Women could walk the streets freely, people didn't lock their home or car doors, there were no burglaries, no one sold crack on the street corners, us kids were safe to play outside. This is why when Gotti would beat a case we would have huge block parties for him, fireworks and all. He was a hero to us

Dont know if everyone knows this but a cugine of ours named john basilone is honored in every marine bootcamp. All marines are told about him. He was an american hero of Italian ancestry and was Roman Catholic. There is a statue of him in Buffalo, NY. Another fact: more than 80,000 Italian Americans died during WW ll - this is more than any other ethnicity.
