Almost all jobs in the Air Force require every bit of your diligence to make sure that personnel and/or materiel does not get damaged or lost(loss of life or functionality), so that didn't leave much room for a violent culture. Hazing to the point of fearing for your life is not hazing, it's assault at that point. Hazing is when individuals agree to be hazed for what ever reason, ie. Wanting to belong, prove your toughness, your intestinal fortitude, and then bitch about it when they cant handle it. Assault is when things are not agreed upon the individuals involved and is forced upon an individual that never agreed to said treatment.😊

Hazing is going to happen to you when you hit your unit. Sometimes it can actually be good because it'll relax you in a way by you seeing your higher ups act like normal people rather than machines. So take it for some time. I think they they actually hit you though, then you can only take so much. DDG was also an 03 soooo that explains it. Don't let it scare you though remember, you made it through what only a small percent of Americans ever would sign up for let alone endure it.
