I stayed in this hotel with my son and we were rudely awakened by a seagull!! We took advantage of the swimming pool and the breakfast was very good. It was an enjoyable stay. I never knew it was pet friendly. We shall go with our dog next time!! All in all I would say it’s worth it. Thank you for another fab video. ❤️🙏.x

Your 100% right about the uv light, the hotels you stay in will be nice and clean . When I start moving up the price list I will stop the uv light.. Great video

Hi Paul, I was at this hotel literally a couple of weeks ago. Stayed a few times previously, its OK, cheap and cheerful, you get what you pay for. We have also stayed at the Imperial across the road, its in a different league altogether, very good. But about triple the price. Thanks for the videos, cheers Iain

Great video, glad you mentioned disabled access. I am disabled I can't walk far, my needs is to be on ground floor with proper disabled access. Many hotels say disabled access but put you upstairs with a long walk from the lift. Don't know if you can recommend any hotel with disabled access on ground floor. TIA Pee from St Helens.

Yay I was painting and listening to China Crisis and here's another of my favourite Scousers! Lovely hotel great facilities. Room needs some TLC and a lick of paint but it's a nice clean space and the price is good. Lovely view and the entertainer carried a tune. Beware them seagulls 😂 x

Hi Paul, The hotel wasn't bad. Was a bit old fashioned, but at least the furniture matched, the black scuff on the side of the wall was probably from dogs.Was quite clean. Still quite busy. I wouldn't be able to manage steps, corridors seemed very narrow don't know if my chair would fit unless, the there was a disabled access room. Didn't think the price was to bad, being you right at the very front. Thanks for the review Paul.

Back today from sommerset hotel llandudno bible in room all new decour and shower in our room.all areas clean and well looked after and cheap as chips for 5days 4nights coach laid on from blackpool.😊

One thing I do notice when I went as a single person I got charged more but before we came as a couple got charged less aswel basically if you go as a single person it's almost like you get punished for going other single solo traveler

Hi Paul I have just subscribed. We are fortunate enough to get away for long weekends now we are retired. We have stayed in a few hotels in Llandudno , We found fantastic hotels if you're going back at any time 😊

This hotel is poles apart from the previous you visited in Llandudno. Just on the strength of this video, I would likely stay here a night or two. Clean, good staff, comfy looking, the singer was miles more listenable and chose good songs, 10 am check in, swimming pool, £55.25p. It's hard to say if that's expensive because you do get what you pay for. And paying for better quality clearly worked in this case. I am disabled, and so long stairs are a disadvantage, but for more able people, I'd say give the Marine Hotel a try. Rain in Llandudno, surely not ha ha. This year it's been common to the north Wales Coast and many others in the UK. I've never fancied Spain, so, it's the luck of the draw. Great video. Informative and useful. As always.

Not bad for the price, but I hate it when you go inside a room and see stained walls; it puts me right off. I know the cleaning staff only gets a certain amount of time to clean them, but this should be sorted out with management. The outside needs a good paint job as well, as this is the first impression. Thanks for showing us around again, and I look forward to watching another one of your brilliant vlogs. 😊

Ive stayed there many times over the past couple of years..the room i book is always described as standard single and is always a sea view..its a much bigger room than the one you had...yes it is a bit dated and frayed around the edges 😅 but is always very clean....i would definitely recommend this hotel

I was very interested when you said the hotel extended into other adjacent properties, I googled and it extended into 1-3 and 4-6 (formerly Regent's court hotel) of Mostyn crescent. So must be very large! It was built in 1863 and was called the Adelphi I loved it's sash windows. Queen of Romania Elisabeth was it's most famous guest and described North Wales as a 'beautiful haven of peace ' later translated into Welsh, Hardd, Hafan, Hedd. It became the official motto of Llandudno ⭐

I have stayed at that place before I was quite happy with my stay there for what I paid and I agree with everything you say and no we don't want UV Lights totally unnecessary you can tell yourself if a place is clean without going down that road. This hotel was owned by Shearings but they got into difficulties during covid and it was took over by Leger but I think they just carried on trading the same as before and coach parties is there main business. I think rain is the norm at that place as it rained 3 out of the 4 days that I was there but Llandudno is generally very flat so good for folks who aren't too good on their legs.

I would have put up with the room as they gave you a sea view to be honest I felt the shower really needed help the grout looked like it had some black mould in it and that would have made me want to change the room but they did give you a nice view so for one night I would have stayed in it price was ok and the breakfast looked good other fab review thank you .

Thanks for the video paul I thowt the room had a few issues marks on walls carpet was dirty I don't think I would stay there would stay there been dog friendly not my thing the price wasn't too bad because you got upgraded to a sea view breakfast looked OK

Hi Paul, Nice review and video. Yes, you could say, its a bit old and dated, but Llandudno is old, and a bit dated. But, if the hotel and room, is clean, warm and comfortable, minor things, can be overlooked, and accepted. Would I stay there, yes. 👍

How do you compare the Marine Hotel with those you reviewed in Mallorca? I would not be happy with your Marine room, dirty walls, cracked sink and that shower cubical really needed a bit of TLC.

No I didn't pay for parking, I normally park up by the wetherspoons on the main road and walk from there

Hi Paul just a few concerns i have regarding your room. When you mentioned and showed us your window view, once again i was concerned about safety standards. The window latch seemed insecure, really dangerous, so maintenance requires improvement. You mentioned the radiator was very hot when you touched it, so danger signal there, even more so if older people in there. Again Paul i just feel that their maintenance team need to up their game as this is all about health and safety for which the owners have a duty care towards those people who stay within their property. Overall Paul it seemed pleasant enough downstairs. I think price range seemed okay, and you were happy with it, that's the main thing.
